A seventeen year old senior boy had been suspended until December 6, 2014 for hugging a teacher. The school said he was sexually harassing her. The teacher said the boy hugged her from the back and put his lips on her neck. The whole thing was caught on tape. It looked like he just hugged her and nothing else. Now, he can't graduate and his career is ruined.
As part of a long-term plan to restore the ideal conditions of the longleaf pine ecosystem within Hitchcock Woods, the Hitchcock Woods Foundation will implement its dormant season prescribed burning program this month. While the burn program dates back to the mid-1980s, policy enhancements in recent years reduced smoke effects in the community.
